Receipts, warranties, manuals, and inspection reports, filed with the appliance they belong to. Warranty expirations show up on your calendar while there is still time to use them.
Stop retyping model numbers
Point your camera at an equipment label and homwarden fills in the make, model, and serial number for you. The photo is sent to our AI provider for that one purpose, and homwarden shows you what it read before anything is saved.
Care that follows the weather.
Your address places the home in a climate region, so reminders arrive ahead of the first hard frost. Location is optional, and your street address is never sent to weather services.

What is homwarden?
homwarden is an iPhone app for keeping track of everything your home needs: recurring maintenance, appliances and systems, receipts, warranties, manuals, and the history of work done on the house. It builds a care schedule around your specific property and keeps the paperwork filed alongside the equipment it belongs to.
Is there an app that keeps track of home maintenance and repairs?
Yes. homwarden tracks recurring maintenance tasks, one-off repairs, and the full service history of your home. Each completed task becomes a permanent, searchable record, so you can show what has been done and when — useful at resale, at insurance renewal, or when a contractor asks what was last serviced.
How does homwarden know what maintenance my house needs?
You answer a few questions about the property — roughly its age, the systems it has, and its address. homwarden uses that to build a starter care plan, and adjusts timing for your climate region using official NOAA/NWS forecast data. Every suggestion is reviewable, and you can add, skip, or reschedule anything.
Can I store receipts, warranties, and appliance manuals?
Yes. You can add PDFs and photos from your camera, Photos, or Files, and link them to the appliance or project they belong to. Everything is searchable across the whole home, and warranty expiration dates appear on your schedule before they lapse.
Do I have to type in model and serial numbers?
No, though you always can. Photograph the equipment label and homwarden reads the manufacturer, model, and serial number for you. That photo is sent to our AI provider for the sole purpose of reading the label — it is never used for advertising and never sold. homwarden shows you what it read and waits for your confirmation before saving anything, and typing the details in by hand works exactly as well.
Is my home data private?
Your documents live in private, per-home storage that only your household can reach, and files are served through short-lived signed links. homwarden shows no ads, does no cross-app tracking, and does not sell data. Location is optional, camera access is requested only when you tap to scan, and you can delete your account and all of your home data from inside the app at any time.
Does homwarden work for a rental property or a second home?
Yes. You can set up a home for any property you are responsible for, and invite family members with their own roles and access.
Does homwarden make money from the parts it suggests?
The Replacement Center can show product options for compatible filters and parts, and those are affiliate links, so homwarden may earn a commission if you buy through one. It never changes what the app recommends you do for your home, and nothing is ever purchased on your behalf — the assistant is read-only and cannot buy anything.
What does homwarden cost?
Nothing. homwarden is free to download and free to use, including the AI features — label scanning, document findings, the grounded assistant, and replacement parts lookup. There is no subscription, no trial period, and no ads, and the app never asks you for a payment method.
Is homwarden free?
Yes, completely. Every feature is included at no cost: your maintenance schedule and seasonal reminders, appliances and systems, documents, receipts, warranties and manuals, your home history, and the AI features. Nothing in the app is locked behind a payment.
