Privacy Choices

homwarden is built so the important switches stay in your hands. This page collects every privacy control in one place — what it does and where to find it.

Location

Location access is optional and only requested after you choose a location-based feature. To change it later, open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → homwarden and pick the access level you prefer, including “Never.” Manual address entry always remains available inside the app.

Notifications

Notification permission is requested only after you enable a reminder or weather notification. To change it later, open iOS Settings → Notifications → homwarden. You can also silence individual reminders inside homwarden without turning off notifications entirely.

Reminder and weather rules

Every optional reminder and weather-preparation rule in homwarden can be adjusted, paused, or disabled from the care settings inside the app. Disabling a rule stops its notifications without deleting your history.

Export your records

You can export selected home records — documents, equipment details, and maintenance history — from within the app whenever you choose. Exports are generated for you and are not shared with anyone unless you share them.

Revoke shares

If you have shared a package of records with someone, you can revoke that share from the sharing controls in the app. Revoked shares stop working; signed document links are short-lived by design.

Correction and deletion

You can edit or delete individual records at any time inside the app. To delete your entire account and its data, see Account Deletion. You may also request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting the privacy team.
