Data Licensing
homwarden does not sell or license your data unless you switch it on yourself. The setting is off for every account, including yours, and nothing about your home leaves AIDA Solutions Group LLC while it is off. Turning it on is the only thing that changes that, and turning it back off stops it.
What would be shared
If you opt in, records about your home are made available to licensees under a pseudonym that cannot be traced back to your account:
- Postal code, state, property type, year built, and approximate size
- Appliance category, manufacturer, model number, and age
- Your total home spend over the previous twelve months
Each record is keyed by a one-way pseudonym derived from your account and the version of these terms you agreed to. It is not your user id, it is not reversible, and it changes when these terms change, so a licensee cannot link one release to another or join it against anything else.
What is never shared
- Your name, email address, or street address
- Documents, receipts, photos, or anything you have uploaded
- Anything you ask the assistant, and any reply it gives
- Your maintenance history, reminders, or notes
Who receives it
Licensees are businesses that buy market data about home equipment — typically manufacturers, retailers, and market researchers. Each is bound by a written agreement not to attempt re-identification and not to redistribute the records. Aggregate statistics that describe no single household may be shared without opt-in, and are held to a minimum cohort size so no group is small enough to identify anyone.
Turning it off
Open Profile → Data licensing in homwarden and switch it off. This is also our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control. Withdrawal removes your home from every release made after that point. Releases already delivered cannot be recalled, which is the honest limit of any withdrawal and the reason the setting starts off.
If these terms change
Consent is recorded against the exact version above. If we republish these terms, prior consent stops counting and you will be asked again — agreeing to this version is not agreement to a later one. Deleting your account also removes you from all future releases.
